This Privacy Policy explains how Live12 DB B.V. (“Live12 DB”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you use our website and API (the “Service”). • Account data: name, email address and billing details you provide when signing up.
• Usage data: API request metadata such as timestamps, endpoints called, request IDs, region served and approximate volume, used for metering and abuse prevention.
• Technical data: IP address and basic device or browser information collected via server logs.

The reference datasets we serve (timezones, country metadata, currencies) contain no personal data about API consumers.

2. How we use data

We use personal data to provide and secure the Service, authenticate requests, enforce quotas, bill for usage, provide support, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

3. Legal bases

We process personal data on the basis of contract performance (providing the Service you signed up for), our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, service improvement), compliance with legal obligations, and, where applicable, your consent.

4. Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal and accounting obligations. Server and usage logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted or aggregated.
